Privacy Policy

The site is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. The public commentary pages require no account and no sign-up. The non-monetary “support” action is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to the server.

Browsing: the hosting/CDN provider may process standard technical logs (e.g. IP address, user agent) to deliver and protect the site. The site is served by Vercel (hosting) behind Cloudflare (CDN/security); their technical logs are retained for a limited period under their own published policies. This site itself sets no analytics or tracking cookies.

Contributions (only if you contribute, and only once payments are active): payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe provides the operator with a payment record that may include your email, name, billing country, amount, and a payment identifier. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by this site.

• To process and confirm contributions and to keep required financial and tax records.
• To compute an aggregate contribution total (if and when a counter is published).
• To handle refunds, chargebacks, fraud review, and legal/accounting obligations.
• To operate, secure, and defend the site against abuse.

By default nothing that identifies a contributor is public. Any public total shows only an aggregate. Names, emails, amounts, billing locations, IP addresses, and payment metadata are not published. If an optional public display (e.g. a nickname) is ever offered, it will be strictly opt-in and private by default.

Personal data is shared only with service providers needed to run the site (e.g. payment processor, hosting/CDN, and — if enabled — the database provider), and where required by law. Providers act under their own terms. Current providers: Vercel (hosting) and Cloudflare (CDN/security/email routing). Data they process may be handled in the United States and other regions where they operate.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, subject to legal recordkeeping limits (financial records generally must be retained). To make a request, contact the address in the footer. Requests are honored as required by the privacy laws that apply to you (e.g. GDPR or CCPA where applicable); the lawful basis for technical logs is the legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

The MVP does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioral tracking, and sets no non-essential cookies. If that changes, this policy and any required consent notice will be updated first.
